Agamotto is Earth's first Sorcerer Supreme and the creator of the Eye of Agamotto.

History

Origins

Many millennia ago, Agamotto was tutored by Oshtur and served as the Earth's first Sorcerer Supreme. He defended it and its reality against such threats as Dormammu, but his hunger for the power and knowledge of the unknown had no end, thus becoming corrupted and evil. Therefore he was banished, but not before his powers were transferred into his right eye, which was removed and turned into the amulet known as the Eye of Agamotto.

Modern days

Eons later, Agamotto escaped free from his dimension and was in search for his missing eye to bring him back to his full power.
